 MuahChee 麻芝/麻糍
Muah Chee, a popular snack originated from China, is steamed glutinous rice dough cut into small pieces and coated with ground coasted peanut and toasted sesame seeds.
The chewy texture combines with the fresh ground roasted peanut … make the Muah Chee so yummy..
Ingredients:
1 bowl glutinous rice flour (about 200 gm)
2-3 tsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp shallot oil
250 ml water
Peanut Mixture :
100 gm roasted peanut
30 gm toasted sesame
35 gm granulated sugar
Directions :
1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, salt, shallot oil and water. Stir to mix well and make sure flour mixture is completed dissolved.
2. Pour the flour mixture into a greased deep steaming bowl, steam over medium heat for 25-30 minutes till it’s fully cooked. Remove from heat and brush the surface with shallot, set aside to cool.
3. Meantime, place all the peanut ingredients in the blender and blend to fine mixture, leave it in a big tray.
4. To serve, using a spoon, scoop muah chee into small pieces, and toss them in the peanut mixture till well coated. Serve immediately.
Notes:
1. Feel free to top the muah chee with shallot crisps.
2. The remaining glutinous rice cake can be wrapped in cling wrap and kept for later enjoyment.

QQ口感的糯米团块,滾上充满香气的花生碎 … 香甜可口。
材料:
糯米粉 1 碗 (约 200 gm)
清水 250 ml
葱油 1 大匙
盐 1/2 小匙
糖 2-3 小匙
花生配料:
烘香花生碎 100 gm
炒香芝麻 30 gm
細砂糖 35 gm
做法:
1. 將糯米粉、清水、葱油、盐、糖拌匀,倒入一個刷了油的蒸盘,再放入預熱蒸爐,中火蒸25-30分钟至熟透。
2. 取出糯米团,表面塗上少許葱油, 放置待冷卻。
3. 把所有花生配料的材料混合在一盘里,备用。
4. 接下来用勺子,把糯米团舀成小块,再滾上花生配料,即可食用。
小提示:
1. 可以随意的配上葱酥享用。
2. 剩下的糯米团,用玻璃紙包好,久放不硬。要吃时再滚上花生碎即可。
