　　2016年7月29日，2016国际青年生命禅学营星云大师与青年接心开示时，来自菲律宾光明大学的三年级学生Lady Anne向星云大师说：

　　我们向您保证：

　　1、十年后，所有光明的毕业生都会弘扬人间佛教。

　　2、我将倾其所学，为世界和平努力。

　　星云大师回答：如果我活不到那一天，来世一定会再来看你。

　　在场大众无不感动落泪。

　　一份养育之恩，灯灯相传，法水永流。

　　At 2016 Life and Ch'an Heart-to-Heart Connection with Venerable Master Hsing Yun, Lady Ann from Guang Ming College said to him,

　　'I promise you Master, that in 10 year's time, all Guang Ming College graduates will be propagating Humanistic Buddhism. I also promise that we will use everything we have learnt to contribute to world peace.'

　　In reply, Ven. Master said, 'If I don't live to see that day, I promise to come back and see you in my next life.' 

　　This was the moment when tears rolled down the cheeks of almost the entire audience. I too, choking on this overwhelming moment, almost couldn't continue interpreting...
