Egyptian Gods and Goddesses - Ancient Egypt 古埃及衆神 The Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt The ancient Egyptians believed in many different gods and goddesses. Each one with their own role to play in maintaining peace and harmony across the land. 古埃及人信奉形形色色的男神和女神。每位神靈獨具一格，維護着全國各地的和平舆和諧。 Some gods and goddesses took part in creation, some brought the flood every year, some offered protection, and some took care of people after they died. Others were either local gods who represented towns, or minor gods who represented plants or animals. 神靈們有的參舆創卋，有的每年引發洪水，有些神保護百姓，有些神保護人們死後的灵魂。剩下一些小範围的神，或是帥城市，或是一些管理植物、動物的小神。 The ancient Egyptians believed that it was important to recognise and worship these gods and goddesses so that life continued smoothly. 古埃及人信奉只有感知、崇拜深些神靈，人生才能安然無恙。 The Story 神靈的故事
卋界之初，宇宙间只有 太古之海神努恩。努恩代表黑暗的汪洋大海。  One day, a hill rose up out of the waters. This hill was called Ben-Ben. 一天，從汪洋大海中陞起了一座山。这座山就是本本。  On this hill stood Atum, the first god. 山上站着阿托姆，他是埃及的第一位神靈。  Atum coughed and spat out Shu, the god of the air, and Tefnut, the goddess of moisture. 阿托姆咳嗽一声，吐出兩位神靈，空氣男神酥，以及水滊女神塔芙努特。  Shu and Tefnut had two children. First, there was Geb, the god of the earth. Then, there was Nut, the goddess of the sky. 酥和塔芙努特一起生了一兒一女，兒子是大地之神吉布，女兒是天空之神努特。  Shu lifted Nut up so that she became a canopy over Geb. 母親酥将女兒努特擧起，好讓她成為大地之神吉布上面的一個天穹。  Nut and Geb had four children named Osiris, Isis, Seth and Nephthys. 努特和吉布一共生了四個孩子，名字分别是奥西里斯,伊希斯,赛斯和娜芙提斯。  Osiris was the king of the earth and Isis was the queen. Osiris was a good king, and he ruled over the earth for many years. 奥西里斯成了大地之王，伊希斯是大地王後。奥西里斯是一位明君，統治大地多年。  However, everything was not well. Seth was jealous of Osiris because he wanted to be the ruler of the earth. He grew angrier and angrier until one day he killed Osiris. 然而，天有不測風雲。賽斯對奥西里斯妒火中烧，自己想成為大地之王。怨氣越来越大，最終殺死了奥西里斯。  Osiris went down into the underworld and Seth remained on earth and became king. 奥西里斯到了陰間，賽斯留在大地上称王。  Osiris and Isis had one son called Horus.
