Mrs. Boot is a farmer. She has two children, called Poppy and Sam, and a dog called Rusty.布特夫人是一个农场主，她有两个孩子一个叫波比一个叫萨姆。还有一只叫做Rusty的小狗。There is a man called Ted who works on Apple Tree Farm. He had just bought a sheepdog to help him with the sheep. Patch chased Woolly back through the gate.
