【国际摄影--环球视野】特蕾莎修女为圣人 在2016年9月4日，特蕾莎修女是罗马教廷在罗马册封为圣人。关于修女的组图是马格南摄影师Raghu Rai的作品。 On 4th September 2016, Mother Teresa was canonized by the Holy See in Rome. Born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on August 27, 1910, in Skopje, Yugoslavia to an Albanian family. In 1928, she settled in India, soon changing her name to Mother Teresa. In 1949 she founded the Order of the Missionaries of Charity to help the poorest inhabitants in the townships of Calcutta. The importance of the work she dedicated her entire life to, allowed Mother Teresa to increase the Order's activities globally. In 1979, the Nobel Peace Prize paid homage to her work and reinforced her popularity in the world. She was beatified in 2003. Though many wouldn’t question her sainthood, critics point to Teresa’s relationships with various dictators, such as Enver Hoxha and Jean-Claude Duvalier, her controversial secret baptisms of dying patients, without regard to the individual’s religion and her staff’s non-medical backgrounds and their patient treatment. by renowned Magnum Photographer Raghu Rai. 图片来源：Raghu Rai
