二、学科信息门户

学科信息门户(Subject based information gateways)是经过组织、有序化和人工处理、专家排选、定期检查处理的学科信息导航系统，其资源都是有效的。具有以下特征：专业、可靠、规范…提供网上大量网站或文献的链接服务；智能化的资源选择，即根据既定的质量和范围标准来选择资源；智能化的产生内容描述，包括短的注释和评论，内容描述可以采用给定的关键词或受控术语；智能化的构建浏览结构；至少部分是人工为每个资源创建（书目）元数据。

开放存取期刊（Open Access Journals, OAJ）

OA期刊

开放存取期刊是一种免费的网络期刊，旨在使所有用户都可以通过因特网无限制地访问期刊论文全文。此种期刊一般采用作者付费出版、读者免费获得、无限制使用的运作模式，论文版权由作者保留。在论文质量控制方面，OA期刊与传统期刊类似，采用严格的同行评审制度。开放存取期刊不再利用版权限制获取和使用所发布的文献，而是利用版权和其他工具来确保文献可永久公开获取。

开放存取期刊( Open access journal, OAJ) 在20 世纪90年代末兴起, 它是因特网上的在线出版物，免费提供给用户使用，用户只需支付上网的费用，而不必支付其他费用。瑞典隆德大学的开放存取期刊列表( Directory of Open Access Journal,DOAJ) 对开放存取期刊所下的定义是： 我们把开放存取期刊定义为这样一种期刊，它采用集资的模式，不向作者或其机构收取使用费。

开放存取仓储（Open Access Repository, OAR）

OA仓储

OA存储也称为OA知识库，包括基于学科的存储和基于机构的存储。

学科OA存储最早出现在物理、计算机、天文等自然科学领域，采取预印本的形式在网上进行专题领域的学术交流。于是一些学术组织开始自发地收集这些可共享的学术信息，将其整理后存放于服务器中供用户免费访问和使用。发展至今，很多学科OA仓储仍主要以预印本资源库的形式存在，对某一学科领域或多个学科领域中的所有研究者开放，提供免费的文献存取和检索服务，以供交流、学习。

机构OA存储的主体一般为高校图书馆、科研院所或学术组织，存储对象为组织或机构的内部成员在学术研究过程中产生的各种有价值资源，如项目研究成果（包括开题报告、中期报告、结题报告等）、调查研究报告、硕/博士学位论文、会议论文，甚至包括课程讲义、多媒体资料等。这些资料虽不一定曾正式发表出版，但是作为学术研究活动过程中的产出，仍具有一定的学术价值。如能通过积极的存储与管理使其得到有效利用，对促进与推动组织内部其他学者的科研创新活动，也必将起到积极的作用。

除上述两种形式外，各种其他形式的OA资源也陆续涌现，如个人网站、电子图书、博客、学术论坛、文件共享网络等。但这些资源的发布较为自由，缺乏严格的质量保障机制，较前两类开放存取出版形式而言，随意性更强，学术价值良莠不齐。
