such和so都可表示“这样的；如此的”之意，所以大家在使用它们时就容易混淆。请看下面这个例子： 天气这么好，我们都想去公园。 【正】The weather is so nice that all of us want to go to the park. 【正】It’s such nice weather that all of us want to go to the park. 【误】The weather is such nice that all of us want to go to the park. 为帮助记忆，在此我们将它俩的用法编成口诀，便于大家在理解的基础上记忆。 一、口诀呈现 名前such，形、副so，多多少少仍用so。 二、内容讲解 1. such用作形容词修饰名词时，须放在名词之前，如： I have never read such an interesting book. 我从未读过这么有趣的书。 It was such a lovely day that it always comes to our mind. 如此美好的一天令我们经常想起它。 We have never heard such instructive stories. 我们未曾听过这么有教育意义的故事。 2. so用作副词修饰形容词或副词时，须放在形容词或副词前，如： This dictionary is so expensive. 这本词典这么贵。 It was so lovely a day that it always comes to our mind. 如此美好的一天令我们经常想起它。 She sings so well. 她唱得这么好。 注意：so一般用于“so adj. a(n) 名词”结构，但当名词为不可数名词时，形容词前只可以用such修饰，不能用so。如： It’s such fine weather that we’d like to go for a picnic.（weather为不可数名词，所以此处只可以用such修饰） 3. 当名词被“多（many）”、“多（much）”、“少（few）”、“少（little）”修饰时，其前仍用so。如： I have had so many falls that I’m black and blue all over. 我摔了许多跤，以致全身青一块紫一块。 There is so little time that we can’t finish work on time. 时间太少，我们不能按时完成这项工作。 It is impossible for so few people to do so much work in such a short time. 在这么短的时间内，这么少的人干那么多的活是不可能的。 注意：当little作“小的”讲，修饰名词时，其前仍须用such，如： They are such little children that they can’t do anything. 他们是小孩子，什么也不会做。 |
