  催稿信怎么写确实有很大学问，我的导师曾经就跟我讲过一次他的经历，博士毕业前要发论文也挺急的，但是据描述论文还挺不错，后来发了，具体期刊名字不记得了但是影响因子是4点多……可想而知论文还是很不错的，最初第一次投了一本期刊，看状态写under review，但是等了4个星期还没回复，就写了一封催稿信，当然很委婉，然后人家回复under review，然后又等，这一等又是一个月啦……导师忍不住了又来了一封催稿信，结果人家直接拒了，然后说试试投其它的杂志……不知道是真的文章不符合要求（可能性不大），还是主编被搞的不耐烦了……

        

就总结一点写催稿信的经验吧~~

        

直接问稿件现在的状态，外国人通常比较直接，想问什么直接说，但是语气一定要委婉，如果回复你under review 或者with edtor之类的就再继续等等耐心一点，还有一点就是看清楚审稿周期，一般期刊的网页都会写审稿周期多久，一般都在3个月到6个月的，投稿特别是英文稿一定要有耐心，一些影响因子比较高的杂志更是，他们的编辑每天要处理的稿件都非常多，所以即使写催稿信一定要语气委婉！

      通常，负责的审稿人一般会在论文审阅期限前交付杂志社，当然也有部分审稿人未能及时提交审稿意见，这样就有了“催稿”一词。催稿虽然表明上是审稿人未及时返回意见所导致作者进行催促的行为，我觉得其实包括两块：（1）论文实际水平；（2）审稿人态度。

    如果论文写作流畅，能够吸引审稿人，俗称能“吊胃口”，那么就会大大缩小审稿时间。根据本人的审稿体会，如果一篇论文写得很好，就好比一篇精彩的小说引人入胜，审稿人通常会一口气读完，这样审稿意见返回自然也迅速。这就要求我们在提交论文的时候将论文做足，力求完美。

    其次，一般审稿人都是大学副高以上职称的老师，教学科研任务等繁重，他们通常会根据自己手头事情的优先等级来处理事务，而且审稿通常由于报酬低甚至义务工作等因素使得审稿只是在其空闲时间进行。因此，通常建议大家不要催稿，理由如下：

1）编辑部采编系统通常有自动催稿功能；

2）未到审稿时间催稿，一来给审稿人来带压力，造成审稿人草草审稿，影响审稿最后录用；二来会对编辑产生不良印象，以为作者质疑编辑的工作态度等；

3）即使最糟糕情况，系统催稿后还未收到审稿意见，编辑部通常会更换审稿人。

    当然，过了审稿时间，我们可以发一封客气的mail给编辑，问一下审稿状态，而不是直白白的进行催稿——“曲线救国”，以表示作者对论文的重视。

    不过，据我周围和认识朋友的反馈，通常情况下，催稿的结果一般是负面的，甚至直接将论文扼杀。我曾经也催过稿，编辑告诉我，他们不会直接与审稿人联系，而是系统自动发催稿，或者自动换审稿人。或许这也是他们期刊的规定吧，避免审稿人与编辑的直接接触。
