Views of Emerald lake on the southern Yukon Territory in Canada is breathtaking. And it’s not just the amazing landscape surrounding the lake, but the water of a fabulous color. The name of the lake which is located on the south of the Klondike highway (117.5 km from Skagway, Alaska), obtained thanks to the amazing green-blue tint of water. Its unusual color is due to the reflection of light from the white marl deposits, clay and calcium carbonate.
