Cashes are often put in redenvelopes and sent to family members or close friends as gifts. The popularityof red in China can also be attributed to the fact that people associate itwith the Chinese Revolution and the Communist Party. However, red does notsignify good luck and joy all the time in that the name of the dead used to bewritten in red. Thus it is regarded as an offense to write the names of Chinesepeople in red ink.

Going to a Graduate School Will Be Better for Me

If given two options after graduation, that is, to take a job in acompany and to go to a graduate school, I’d prefer the latter.

Part ⅠWriting

Working in a state-owned business or in a joint venture

Upon graduation, all college students will confront the problem ofthe career choice, which is truly a tough one. Some hold that there is no better way toget a decent job than working in a stated-owned business, which will guaranteetheir quality of life after retirement, [while others insist that working in ajoint venture outweighs any other jobs as it may provide higher income. As forme, I prefer the latter.

For one thing, a joint venture usually offers a more cooperative andcompetitive working atmosphere which is suitable for the beginners to developtheir abilities. For another, joint ventures usually provide highsalaries,  which exerts a tremendousfascination on a great number of people, especially to the beginners who needto cover the expenses of transportation, the house-renting, and socialactivities. Besides the above two, I adore the diverse business culture in thejoint ventures, immersed in which I can broaden my vision and expand myknowledge.

Based on the above reasons, working in a joint venture will be myfirst and sole choice.
