总结： 一、语境相对于15年的更加丰富。主要体现在：另外复合句增多，具体如下：
笔者因为常年找这些例句，深有体会。一个好句子往往是有清晰的主干，然后在合适的位置上添加因果、目的等状语来拓展意义，但拓展要显得自然和语境的完整，而不是突兀做作。今年的例句选择是完全符合这些标准的。 二、语境中的预制词块多，且句子具有一定的正能量，可以用来赏读（括弧所示）。现在的单选语法和词汇考查都不难，难在考生能否理解由词块构成的语境意义。譬如22题，如果不能理解in the years ahead词块，就很容易做错。 21.It is often the case that anything is possible for those who hang on to hope.（希望） 22.More efforts, as reported, will be made in the years ahead to accelerate the supply-side structural reform. （努力） 23.Many young people, most of whom were well-educated, headed for remote regions to chase their dreams. （梦想） 24.—Can you tell us your recipe for happiness and a long life? —Living everyday to the full, definitely. （幸福） 25.He did not compromise easily, but was willing to accept any constructive advice for a worthy cause.（虚心） 26. Opposites sometimes do attract. （交际） 33.Parents should actively urge their children to take advantage of the opportunity to join sports teams. （教育） 34.Not until recently did they encourage the development of tourist-related activities in the rural areas. （旅游） 35.—Jack still can’t help being anxious about his job interview. —Lack of self-confidence is his Achilles’ heel, I am afraid. （就业） 三、单选和社会热点联系紧密 这两年的单选都紧跟社会热点，今年也不外例外，我们来看看： 供给侧结构改革（the supply-side structural reform.）；大山相声；大学生创业。 数量不多，但也能看出导向，尤其是结合后面的阅读和写作更可见一斑。 我们比较一下前三年的看看，可见，这种趋势主要从2015年开始，应该成为以后的标配。
四、重在考查基本语法点，杜绝偏难怪题 近两年的单选所选语法考点趋向一致，即：基于书本上的基本知识点。我们所见到的各种刁钻语法一个也没有。这就是很多学生走下考场发出感叹，这似乎不是江苏命题风格。笔者认为这正是江苏英语卷回归理性的难能可贵的一步。 五、重视模块1-11中的习语和谚语的整理 今年考查了模块11中的习语，去年考查了模块1的习语。这也是给我们透露：重视课本习语。 六、词汇的考查灵活，更具生活化。 在我们词汇学习中，已经形成了一个术语：熟词生义。笔者认为，这不是太准确的说法。譬如今年的recipe，去年的develop，前年的recover，考查的都是其引申意义，而引申意义又是英美作品中很常见的用法。（毕竟近两年的单选句子都是选自各种外刊杂志中）
以上五点对我们有何启发： （1）对于学生来说，重视课标词汇的识记，最好结合词块记。笔者认为，单纯的识记弊端不少，尤其在阅读理解中，往往陷入知道单词意思，却在句子理解上纠结。最好的办法是在做完套卷后，将试卷中的词块认真摘录，尤其是阅读完形。 （2）对于教师来说，应该一方面对课标词汇逐个清理，另一方面，设计的练习中的句子要符合四个标准：地道、语境、积极、预制词块。最起码要符合地道、语境两个底线。另外，如果可能，可以结合时政热点进行造句。
下面是我去年的评价，读者也可以参考一下，基本今年也是一脉相承。 今年的单选考查难度明显低于前两年，没有考查语法和词汇的生僻用法，没有从文学作品中节选句子，而是突出最基本的词块应用，例如count on, develop，而且用到了模块一Unit2中的习语，让学生觉得亲切。在高三一轮复习时建议：全面把握语法考点（共100个）；对自己语法的盲区一定要扫清（命题人对你的薄弱点是了如指掌的）；不要在语法上花太多的时间。 具体考察分析如下： （1）考察影响全句和重要语义关系的结构 eg. 名词性从句、定语从句 （2）考察涉及基本语法概念的知识 eg. 谓语vs非谓语；动词时态； （3）我们平时做题注意必要和适度的覆盖面 - 避免同一试卷中的重复 - 减少与近年试卷的重复 （换言之，应注意过去几年出现较少但属于基本和重要的知识点） （4）采用一定的难度调节策略 - 叠加语言知识点（eg. V-ing 被动态/独立主格结构；情态词完成式等） - 增加语境复杂度
