Mean to

to have (something) in your mind as a purpose or goal 打算、故意

• I keep meaning to visit you—I just never seem to get around to it.  我一直想来看望你, 只是一直没有机会来。

• He says he never meant to hurt her. 他说他没有想故意伤害她。

used to say or ask how important something is to someone 对。。。有多重要

• It means a lot to me to know that you believe me.知道你相信我对我来说很重要。
