众所周知，英文写作的最基础在于词汇，所以如何在词汇上面下功夫，成为了我们写作快速提分的根本问题，今天我们就来讨论下提升我们词汇逼格的三原则。 不过有一点需要提请大家注意，这里讲的三原则主要是一些应试的技巧，为的是快速提高分数，并非一个人真正写作能力的提升。所以大家在学习这些技巧的同时，千万不要舍本逐末，忘了自身的积累。 一、复杂原则 宋代禅宗大师青原行思提出参禅有三重境界：参禅之初，看山是山，看水是水；禅有悟时，看山不是山，看水不是水；禅中彻悟，看山仍是山，看水仍是水。 我们是俗人，却依旧进取，所以大多时我们只能做到第二重境界：看山不是山，看水不是水。所以同样的，我们喜欢的东西，大多数时候是不能够接受它们其实很平凡的事实的。 所谓复杂原则就是这个道理，我们想要表达一个意思，可是偏偏不用那些被用的很滥的词汇，因为那太俗了嘛，所以我们要用一些有逼格的词汇。 就像very这个词，就不是人人都能用的嘛，除非你是特朗普… 所以我们不用very，我们喜欢用exceedingly，或者extremely。还有一些例子，比如不用chance而用opportunity，或者好好的 I don’t know不说，而是要说 I have no idea of the fact that之类的。或者说我们想表达重要，就不喜欢用important，而是用of great importance，或者significant / crucial / essential 等等。 二、多变原则 记得我小时候的作文老师曾经跟我说，红烧肉好吃，可是天天让你吃，你照样会吃厌。 是的，人本身就一直是喜新厌旧的动物。 所以如果我看到满篇文章出现了十几个 I think 的时候，我的内心其实是崩溃的。我相信考官也是这样的。 但是我们写作的时候又不可避免的会遇到很多时候都要表达自己的观点，所以我们就要多积累一些不同的句法结构来阐述自己的观点，例如 in my eyes / as far as I am concerned / in my opinion / I am a strong believer that / I am in total agreement with the claim that / I subscribe to the idea that … 三、温暖原则 以前我的英语老师说过，孤单的名词需要形容词的温暖，孤单的形容词、动词需要副词的温暖。 所以以后写作的时候我都不会让一个单词孤零零的站在那里，总会千方百计给它增加一点修饰。 比如我们在写作中经常会用到的采取措施，一般我们会讲take measures to do就可以了，而我却怎么都觉得太单薄了，所以会写take effective and efficient measures to do。同样的，我还会用 I firmly believe, Their views differ sharply on the issue, the society’s sustainable development, the fierce competition等等。 运用这三个原则，我们可以整理出很多我们作文中可以快速提分的结构，这里列出了一部分比较实用的组合，权当抛砖引玉，希望可以给大家提供一些思路。 越来越 be increasingly adj. / an increasing number(amount) of n. 人们认为 it is generally / widely believed / held / agreed that 许多问题 a host of / a number of / a multitude of / a vast amount of / a good deal of problems 引起人们注意 call / attract general / public attention to sth. 意识到 there is growing awareness / realization of / that 适应新的形势或变化 adapt / adjust / accommodate oneself / sb. to new environment / change 接触各种思想或经历 be exposed to new ideas / experiences / problems 接触社会 come into frequent / close contact with the world / society ( contact the society / step into the society) 获得成功 achieve / accomplish great success 提出观点或建议 advance / put forward / come up with the arguments / ideas / suggestions 作出努力 make / exert tremendous / persistent / sustained effort to do sth.
