英语语法测试，从多项选题变为填空题使得语法测试更趋合理。语法填空题有两种基本形式，一是给词填空，二是缺词填空。给词填空题，一般是给有形态变化的词填空，英语单词的形态变化有两种，一是构成变化，如名词fame变成形容词famous,另一种是改变词的语法含义，如把write变成过去分词written。对于给词填空题，我们只要根据具体语言环境，考虑以上两种形态变化就可以了。 缺词填空是大多数人感觉比较难的题，大家对这种题感到迷茫，不知道该填一什么样的词为好。其实，缺词填空题大多是考查介词，冠词，连接词和一些语法结构词，因为这些词往往没有形态的变化。 汉语中没有冠词，所以从句意上很难发现填什么样的词，所以我们不能光从句子意思上考虑问题，还应从句子结构上来考虑。如果所设的空位于名词或名词短语前，我们应想到是否缺少冠词，如果是缺少冠词的话，再根据冠词的具体用法去补上；如果所设的空位于名词或名词短语前，且不缺少冠词，这时我们要看空后面的名词是否在句子中充当某个语法成分，如果找不到名词或名词短语在句子中的相应成分，一般所设的空是考查介词，后面的名词或名词短语做要填的介词的宾语。 连接词牵涉的是复合句，英语复合句是以五种基本句型为基础的，按五种基本句型算，含有两个或两个以上单句的句子为复合句。复合句之间要有连接词连接，由两个单句组成的复合句用一个连接词，由三个单句组成的复合句用两个连接词，以此类推。对转接词的考查，如果是并列复合句，我们可以根据句间的逻辑关系来填，比如因果关系，并列关系，转折关系等，如是从属复合句中的定语从句和名词性从句，我们还得分析从句的句子结构，因为连接词可以在从句中充当句子成分。 语法功能词主要用在一些特殊的句型中，比如部分倒装要用到的助动词词或情态动词，强调句型中的it和that,还有it做形式主语或形式宾语。 缺词填空练习题 用适当的不变词填空及答案 1.
