“和孩子一块读读吧” Good night,gorilla《晚安，大猩猩》， Peggy Rathmann 代表作品，用非常简单的英语和温馨的画面，描绘出一个大猩猩趁着动物园管理员不注意所做的恶作剧。当然，最后一切归于安静，大猩猩也进入梦乡。
夜深人静，动物园的管理员去跟动物们一一道晚安。调皮的大猩猩拿走了他挂在身后的一串钥匙，从笼子里溜了出来，还偷偷放出了大象、狮子、长颈鹿……就这样，动物们悄悄地跟在管理员身后回了家……

Animals forms a very grand parade and go to the keeper's home. 动物们形成了一个非常壮观的游行队伍，跟着管理员到了家。
Good night, Dear. 晚安，亲爱的。 The zoo keeper says to his wife. 管理员对妻子说。
Animals say good night to each other, the noise distrubs the keeper's wife. 动物们躺下互相道晚安，最后熄灯后的一连串“晚安”把管理员的妻子惊醒了。
She cannot sleep well, so she decides to take a look. WOW!, WHAT HAPPENED, so many animals. 她睡意全无，因此决定看看发生了什么，哇！发生了什么! 这么多动物。 She decieds to send gorilla to the zoo, with his animal friens. 她决定把大猩猩和它的朋友们送回动物园。
Good night, zoo. 晚安，动物园。 When comes back , she does't find that gorilla steps into her and go to sleep between her and her husband. 回来时，她竟然没发现大猩猩依然悄悄跟在她后面，而且还爬到床上睡在她和丈夫之间。
Good night, Dear. 晚安，亲爱的。 Good night. 晚安。
