Worth one’s while指值得花时间和精力去做某件事，需要特别注意的是它只搭配动作而不是名词。例如，

Doing volunteer work to help others is truly worth one's while

所以，His books are not worth while用法错误，应改为：

1.       His books are not worth reading

2.       His books do not repay reading

3.       His books are not worth one's while to read

如果要修饰名词，可以用worthwhile，尽管略显空洞。例如，

The author has written several other worthwhile books
