约翰·尼霍夫 Johan Nieuhoff (Uelsen, 22 July 1618 - Madagascar, 8 October 1672) was a Dutch traveler who wrote about his journeys to Brazil, China and India. The most famous of these was a trip of 2,400 km from Canton to Peking in 1655-1657, which enabled him to become an authoritative Western writer on China.

本书1655年荷兰文初版，1666年德文版，1668年拉丁文版，1669年英文版。

Johnson 出版。

厦门大学出版社出版了荷兰莱顿大学包乐史博士和厦门大学南洋研究所庄国土合著的《荷使初访中国记研究》,此书由厦大韩振华教授作序,是莱顿大学和厦门大学两校合作研究成果之一;包乐史博士的另一本著作《中荷交往史》也出版。
