【原】Unit5  If you go to the party , you’ll have a great time

2 、Process and method: get the students to do Pairwork and Groupwork to learn talk about consequences, learn and master to express the conditional adverbial clauses by offering the conditions,drilling sentences patters.

3 、Emotion and evaluation: The content is about party, it is close to the students’ life,so  it can arouse the students’special attention  easily and inspire the students’enthusiasm; At the same time, enable students to express their feelings  in English and take an active part in all kinds of activities in an English class.

Teaching Procedures：

Step 1 Warming up and Leading in

1. Enjoy an English song : If you are happy.

2. Ask some questions.

If you are happy, what will you do?

If I am happy, I will smile.

If you become sad, what will you do?

If I  become sad, I  will  cry...

Step 2. Presentation

1．Show some pictures to present new structure:

Ask several students:  What will you do if you have lots of  money ?

                      If I have lots of money,I will buy a car.                                                             

What will you do if you see a wallet on the floor?

If I see a wallet on the floor, I will give it to my teacher.

Practice with the students 

2．Show some situations to the students , discuss in pairs :what will happen? Then ask some students about the consequences.

Step3  Presentation and Practice

This Sunday our class will organize a party. What will happen if you go to the party? Discuss with the students.

If I go to the party , I’ll have a good time.  

 If I go to the party , I’ll leave early.

Step4  Practice

(1)Show the pictures of Section A , ask the students to predict the consequences. Talk about the pictures

1a Look at the pictures. Then match the statements with responses.

(2)1b  Listen .Were your answers to activity 1a correct? Play the tape and

then check the answers

 (3) Finish 2a and 2b.                                              

Step 5 Discussion

Discuss with your partner what you will like to be in the future. Why? and if you do so,  what will happen?

Step  6 Groupwork

Write a story in groups . The first person begins the story with the words “ I think I am going to ...” the other people in the group add sentences with the word “if”. Pass the paper around the circle. Then read the story.

 Step 7 Summary

This class we have learned the Adverbial Clause with “if” ，we can use the word“ will”to show what is going to happen.But in sentences with“if”,we shouldn’t use “ will”.

Step  8 Homework :

 Write about own plans using sentences with “if”and “ will”.

教学反思 ：

本课设计上思路非常清晰，由浅入深，教师带学生一步一个脚印， 让学生非常自然的领会本课的知识点。教师能够创设真实的情景，使学生将所学的语言结构应用到生活实际中，培养他们运用英语知识进行交际的能力。教师对课堂的把握到位，收放自如。整节课，学生在轻松愉快的课堂氛围中学到了知识，培养了学生的听说能力。不足之处在于学生谈论事件结果时，教师应及时强调和指导。
