He Tu and Luo SHu

He Tu and Luo SHu

He Tu and Luo SHu

He Tu and Luo Shu

This section gives a new explanation on the mystery of He Tu andLuo shu both are considered to be the gift from god the book ofchangers fengshui techniques and eight trigram are thought to havetheir origin from hetu and luoshu.

We use the Cartesian coordinate to represent the threedimensional space the luoshu tortoise can be represented by the x-yplane the hetu dragon horse can be presented by x-z sagittal plane.in yoga the seven chakras and chakra can be presented by z-y crosssection plane all three related to the human body (figure 1)

The number in he tu and luo shu represent the energy points Qiin the body these energy points correlate with certain plexuses inthe nervous system they also correlate with parts of the body .hetu and luo shu also directly relate to the eighttrigrams of I-Ching

This chapter also points out that the location of the mediumnerve and its related chakra depand on the method used by thepractitioner

The mystery of he tu and luo shu

The book of chonges he tu becomes the picture and luoshu becomesthe learns from them

Hetu

one and six are clannish brothers

Two and seven are ruddies

Free and eight are companions

Four and nine are friends

Five and ten live in the center

Luoshu

The beginning is nine and the one

Left is three and right is seven

Two and four represent the should

Six and eight represent the foot

Five live in the center

According to legend hetu was first appeared atthe time of fuxi prehistdric at that time a legendary animal with ahead of a dragon and a body of a horse surface from yellow river atits body they were marks of numerical numbers it was thought bysome as a mininture stricture of the universe

The luo shu traced back to the time of emporer yu of the xiadynastry there was a tortoise with a dragon head swam to the bankof the river the crenture carried a numenrical pattern on its backemperon yu was inspined and methods of preventing the floods weredeveloped some thought also the luo shu is a receivedrepresentation of the earth .

The evolution of the he tu and luo shu were unclieare howeverthe appearance the two was diagrams probably first started aroundthe song dynastry

Horse diagram he tu taotoise hook diagram luoshu

Normally Chinese ancient classics are full of code words argotor metaphor and simile in Taoism expecially words like dragon tigerlead and mercury were used to denote certain phenomena appearcedduring meditation if dragon horse diagram he tuand tortoise book diagram luo shu represents the human body whatwould be the explanation ? we can use the Cartesian coordinate toexplain them the tortoise book diagram can be explained by the x-yplane and it is similar to the x-y froutal plain of the human body.As for the dragon horse diagram it can be denoted by the x-Z planeit corresponds to the x-Z sagital plane of the body it is not hardto understand how the ancient poople used the horse and thetortoise to represent the frontal and the sagittal plane

In yoga each of the seven chaka ha a definitenumber the sacral chakral first chakra only hasfour leaves the chakra can be represented by the y-z plane and itis eqvivalent to the horizontal plane of the human body.

In Taoism the practice of QI can be romghly dividedinto microcosmic and macrocosmic circulation themacrocosmic circulation implies union of body with nature in orderto achier this union the governor vessel and the frontalle have tobe opened to allow the passage of qi. In Taoism the real positionof the governone vessel is inside the spinal cord and the spingthis can be also represented by the dragon horse diagram he tu andcan be expresses also by the x-y plane or the sagittal plane of thebody the tortoise book diagram can be drauw as the x-y plane or thefrontal plane of the body

From the above discussion we feel that the origin of he tu andluo shu are the result of qi distribvtion during the practice ofmeditation . it is evident from scientific studies or meditationseveral forces exist in nature those affect human body the most arethe gravitational and electro-magnetic forces the gravitationalforce possesses time element whereas the electromagnetic force hasa special relationship in crude awy qi is the bio-electromagneticforce nature possesses electromagnetic force and human bodysimilarly has bio-electromagnetic force both can directly and indirectly affect each other both can merge or repel each otherresonance also plays a important role between them theirintcraction is called in the past as union of nature and man
