Eddie LaMeire’s Bio Mr. Eddie LaMeire began his career in college admissions in the late 1990s, reviewing applications and managing student recruitment for a private university. After three years, Eddie moved to UC San Diego, where he worked in admissions and outreach.
In 2006 Eddie moved on to work with a large education company in the Bay Area, developing their college consulting division. For more than five years he directed the group, working with approximately 40 seniors per year. Eddie has helped students earn admission to each of the top-25 schools in the country, as well as to the country’s top 10 liberal arts colleges.
Eddie has served on boards with the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and he is a member of the Western Association of College Admission Counseling (WACAC) and the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA). He currently contributes to outlets such as Yahoo! as a college admissions expert. Eddie has offices in Santa Clara and Fremont, and works with students from the Bay Area, Taiwan, and China.
