14.10 动名词的功能和用法

动名词是动词的名词化，当作名词用即可。

动名词作主语

例句：

Travelling in space by ordinary citizens will be common.

普通市民去太空旅行将会非常普遍。

动名词作表语

例句：

My job is collecting information about the company.

我的工作就是收集关于这家公司的信息。

动名词作动词后宾语

常见的只能跟动名词作宾语的动词有：

例句：

I really enjoyed teaching French to children on weekend.

那时我周末教小孩法语教得很愉快。

I don't mind fitting my timetable round yours.

我并不介意改变我的时间表来适合你的。

动名词作介词后宾语

They developed new methods of growing food, hunting and moving around.

他们创造了种植、狩猎和迁徙的新方法。

You see. I knew you would feel better after eating something.

你看。我就知道你吃点东西后会感觉好些的。
