解题思路

综合填空题要求学生具有扎实的语言基础知识，以及对篇章的理解和综合分析的能力。答题时应注意以下步骤：

1.浏览全文，了解文章大意；

2.精读短文，前后照应，分析句法，巧选（猜）词汇；

3.复读全文，仔细推敲，判断词形、词性，注意固定搭配；

4.再读短文，结合基本常识和上下文语境，验证答案。

中考真题例析 (2017内蒙古包头)

阅读下面短文，根据首字母、音标以及语境的提示在每个空格内填入适当的单词（1个单词）；或根据汉语意思的提示，在空白处填入适当的短语，使短文语意连贯、意思完整。

Dick was a smart young man whose parents were not rich. He had to work in his (1)s time. 3.at least。固定短语。

4.make sure。固定短语。so asto表示“为了，以便”，后接动词原形。

5.during。表示在白天，可以用介词in或during，题中给出了首字母提示d，故填during。

6.night。根据上文，Dick找到两份兼职工作，一份在白天，与之对应另一份应该在晚上。

7.cut up。固定短语。learnto do sth.表示“学会做某事”。

8.boss。由该句后半部分可知，这里指的是商店的老板。

9.on the other hand。与前面on theone hand（一方面）对应。on the other hand表示“另一方面”。

10.as。such as为固定搭配，表示“例如”。
