1 About one year ago, my father advises me to take a first aid course. “It’s really importance and maybe it will help you save someone’s life one day,” my father said. I agreed but took a first aid course in the followed months. The other day, while I was on my way home, I saw an old man fall to ground. It was obvious to me that he was suffering a heart attack. I instant ran to him and used which I had learned to save him. Then two passer-by came to help. The old man was taken to hospital in about twenty minutes later. She is out of danger now. 2 Yesterday I went to the hospital visit a friend in the Intensive Care Unit. I buy a bunch of flowers for him. Therefore, the nurse told me I couldn’t bring the flowers into the ICU, so I left them outside. When I was about to leave, I saw a hospital clean and she looked very tiring. I asked her if she was OK. They chatted for a while. Then I decided on to give the flowers to her. She accepted the flowers grateful. I patted her on the shoulder and told her to take well care of herself. She smiled and her eyes filled with tear. 3 One day, when my little brother John came home, we opened the fridge door to reach for some ice cream. But my mother said, “John, you won’t have ice cream now. Go and play outdoor.” John said he wanted to play with Mommy and Daddy with my mother. My mother disagreed. She played Mommy but John played Daddy. My mother asked, “Which should I do?” John said, “Go upstairs and lie down.” My mother went upstairs and lied down. Then John, dressing in my father’s shirt, went upstairs and said in loud voice, “Go downstairs and give John some ice cream.” 4 One of the most interesting places to visit in Singapore is bird park. It’s in the industry area of Singapore, calling Jurong. The bird park is about 12 kilometer away from the centre of the city, and it’s easy to get to there by bus or by taxi. There are hundreds of beautiful birds in the park in different parts of the world. The birds are keep in large cages. There’s also a very large cage where you can walk inside to get a closer look at the birds. It took about two hours to see all the birds. The best time to visit the park is in the early morning or in the later afternoon.
