很多考生越看范文，觉得越郁闷甚至沮丧，因为发现自己的低水平Chinglish写作和高分作文之间似乎存在着不可逾越的巨大鸿沟。要想跨越这条鸿沟，弥补其中的差距，关键在REVISE多修改。考生可以先在规定时间内完成作文，然后对照范文，看看自己作文中存在的问题。比如：有没有审题错误?结构是否混乱?有没有表达不清的地方?然后仔细琢磨一下,范文是如何展开论证的?（重点在范文的论证逻辑）When practicing for the IELTS writing task, revising your previouswritings is as important as doing practice tests.修改作文和写一篇新作文一样重要~ By improving the essay structure, sentences, and vocabulary, iteffectively sharpens your writing skills. However, some students may wonder howto revise an IELTS essay properly. Today let’s take a look at some tips onrevising an IELTS essay! 一、写作结构层面Structurelevel To revise an essay, youneed to start from the whole structure and then to the details.先从全文结构改起，最后再不断完善细节 The essay should have a clear andlogical structure. Here are some questionsyou can ask yourself： #1. Is there a clear introduction, body and conclusion?引言、正文和结论三部分 #2. Is there a clear thesis statement that answers the question andshows your opinion?主题句 #3. Is there a clear topic sentence and supportingdetails in each paragraph?主题句和支持文章的细节（举例） Read your essay and markthe introduction, body and conclusion. Underline the thesis statement, topicsentences and supporting details. Make sure that none of those is missing. #4. Is it logical between paragraphs? You can improve the logicbetween paragraphs by using transitional words.用好过渡词增加逻辑感
二、句子层面Sentencelevel #1. Is every sentence grammatically correct?语法正确 Grammar mistakes are oneof the most common mistakes in IELTS writing. Check word order and tenses carefully. Also, try toavoid run-on sentences（缺乏连接词或标点符号的长句）. #2. Is it logical between sentences? Sentences cannot berandomly put together. They should have logical connections with each other. Transitional words can also help you to improvethe logic between sentences. Therefore, use the proper ones when it isnecessary. #3. Is there a wide range of sentence structures?尽量用多种句型 If your essay onlyincludes simple sentences, you won’t receive a good score.只用简单句的叠加，难获高分 To get a higher band score, you need to vary your sentencestructure. That means you have to use a wide range of sentence structures suchas compound sentences and complex sentences并列句和复合句.
三、词语层面Vocabularylevel #1 Are there any spelling mistakes?拼写错误必须避免，不确定的单词不要写 Spelling mistakes can beeliminated by checking carefully. #2 Is there a wide range of vocabulary?词汇量 Do not use the same wordagain and again because the vocabulary range is also one of the criteriaof IELTS writing.
