关于真实动作——怀特豪斯如是说 玛丽.怀特豪斯（Mary Whitehouse）：真实动作（authentic movement）创始人，她是玛莎·葛兰姆（Martha Graham，1894~ 1991 美国舞蹈家和编舞家，也是现代舞蹈史上最早的创始人之一）和玛丽.魏格曼（Mary Wigman，1886～1973，德国现代舞女演员、编导和教师,欧洲表现主义现代舞创始人之一）的学生，先是一名专业舞者，后来成为一名关注内在生命发展的舞动治疗师。 “Myprimary interest might have to do with process not results, that it might not beart I was after but another kind of human development. . . .Whatever it was, wewere traveling away from dance. I had to call it movement. . . .
