Somewhere I want to go 2024, a special year for me, I will be 17 years old then. That summer I want to go to Paris. Certainly, I will go to see Monalisa in the Louvre Museum. But what attracts me most is the graceful green pool in the Olympic center. Maybe in your eyes, I am a normal little girl. But, in fact, I am a young swimmer going through many hard times. After a day’s hard study, I must quickly finish my supper. Then, my tough training starts: freestyle, breast stroke, backstroke, butterfly and so on. 5km a day and 30km a week! More often than not, when I was totally exhausted, it was the shouting of my coach “Faster! Faster! Faster!!” spurred me on. That’s not all. After training, I have to do my homework. Sometimes, I’m so tired that I burst into tears. Just like Fu Yuanhui has said: “Who knows what I’ve been through!” But I believe “NO PAINS, NO GAINS.” After countless hard trials, last summer, I won the 1st prize in the provincial Championship and 4th prize in the National Championship! I feel proud that I become one of the best swimmers in China at my age! Now, do you know where I want to go? Yes, Paris, the Olympic Games and the gold medal! That’s all, thank you! |
