客观说，这篇作文题不是新题，基本和最近某年的考研英语作文题一样了。但这不是关键。主要看改写的力度了。 考查图表的描述一般还是要慎重地，因为图表描述属于相当高层次地写作了，多出现在雅思托福写作中。一方面要考查读图能力，另外一方面要把图转换成文，比较耽误时间的。所以江苏在2017年用图表加文字的形式，这样通过文字的描述也很大程度上辅助考生转换图表。但苏州期初考试就是一张图，然后让概括。而概括和描述还有区别。我以为单纯考数据图表不是和高考命题思想一致的。 下面我来细谈一下： （本文是我的高三和高二网课秋季班第一节课内容的节选） 新高考新培训 | 2018年飚记英语秋季网课班（高一、二、三）招生简章 阅读下面文字和饼状图，并按照要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。 上图是2017年某市消费者选择餐厅时的关注因素 1.用约30个词概括上图内容； 2.请简要分析以上因素影响消费者选择的原因； 3.谈谈你就餐的关注因素，并用2-3个理由或论据支撑你的看法。 注意：作文中不能出现真实姓名和学校名称。 第一部分 30个词的概括 图表描述，关键是找准比例的主体，请思考： 36%的主体：消费者还是特色？ 选择前者：36%的消费者选择特色 选择后者：特色在所有的因素中占36% 结合提示信息：2017年某市消费者选择餐厅时的关注因素，应该取后者。如果有学生取前者，也没问题。 其次要会基本的数据表达，再复杂的数据，也要简化成：在……中，A占多少比例。这就是： Among …, A makes up / accounts for …%. 注意：Among后一定是一个名词，这个名词后会可能带上一个后置定语或定语从句。 分析：核心词为“因素”，后面带上后置定语：消费者选择餐厅时的。 这样就可以写成：
这样描述是详细描述图表，但是根据要求“概括”，所以还要去掉细节：
积累词汇： 占据：make up, account for 分别是：… and … respectively 占据首位：rank first, take a lion’s share, be in the lead; top the list 其次是：Next comes… 对比范文： A survey was conducted in a city in 2017 about factors contributing to diners’ preference of a restaurant. Flavor features, service and the dining environment made up the biggest proportion. 个人之见： 这个描述完全忽略了最小值，但是熟悉雅思图表描述的都知道，图表描述一般抓两头，即最大和最小，这样才能形成对比，从而挖掘规律。所以我对范文保留自己的意见。 第二部分、主体部分 请读者要留意，这两个要点实际上是重复的，第二个要点要求谈选择原因，第三个要点还是谈选择原因，只不过对象换了，但本质上没有区别。所以考生写的时候，不要在第二个要点写的时候穷尽了思维。 思维角度： 大部分都能想到经济发展了，有钱了。这个着眼点是从社会经济角度。我们再考虑个人的精神层面上的需求，那就是更加追求心理上的享受。 个人：pursue spiritual consumption 社会：economic development; rising living standards; high income 成文： Quite a few things give rise to the phenomenon. First, fast economic development goes hand in hand with（也可以是contributes to) individual high income. Therefore, people naturally hightlight (也可以是prioritize） living standards instead of just filling their belly. This is why they focus more on flavor features. Besides, they increasingly pursue spiritual consumption. For example, high-quality service like sincere smiles can warm their heart and make them at home. More often, a pleasant atmosphere with soft music can relieve tiredness and stress after a whole day’s work. 分析： 第一个逻辑，从因果上拓展：经济发展了—》个人收入提高了—》追求生活水平的提高了—》重视食物的特色了 注：推理到最后必须回到图表中，这叫点题。 第二个逻辑，从举例上拓展：追求精神上的消费—》举例：音乐和微笑：宾至如归；缓解疲乏。 积累词汇： give rise to go hand in hand with prioritize fill their belly This is why… focus more on pursue spiritual consumption. make one at home relieve one’s tiredness and stress 第三个要点，有点麻烦，因为上面已经讲了两个原因了，现在需要另辟一个关注要素了，就中国食品而言，一个不可回避的问题就是：安全。 As for me, I give high priority to the safety of food and confortable environment, not only because poisoned or polluted food will pose a great threat to health, but because they can influence my appetite to the great extent. 另外建议多储备一些相关有用搭配： 战胜 / 取代 / 流行：outweigh; make room for; prevail; gain popularity eg. As a result, individual material needs have made room for mental needs. Firs-class food services will be prevailing in modern food market 完整的文： As is illustrated in the chart, among factors influencing diners’ choice of a restaurant, distinctive features rank first. Next come service and the dining environment. Others like price make up the least proportion. Quite a few things give rise to the phenomenon. That’s why flavor features, which 36.3% of the respondents highlight, top the pie chart, while the price only accounts for 8.4%. Almost of equal importance are service and the dining environment. The reason, by and large, is that service and an inviting atmosphere can make diners enjoy a meal to the fullest. If I choose to dine in a restaurant I will be more concerned about the safety of the food and environment. Reports about the use of dirty cooking oil are often heard, which makes me worried- Besides, I think dining environment can reflect the service quality of the restaurant.
