坐汽车到底是''by car''还是''in a car''?

介词 Preposition /,prepə'zɪʃ(ə)n/

Preposition + word (s) 介词最主要是用来和不同单词搭配，并提供额外信息。

今天我们聊日常出行。交通工具，该如何使用介词进行搭配？

'by'+大多数运输工具

例句：

She had come by car with her husband and her four children.

她和丈夫还有四个孩子坐轿车来的。

I went by bus and train to London.

我坐公交换火车去的伦敦。

*注意，有个例外——步行，是'on foot'而不是'by foot'。

'in', 'into', 'out of' + …车

例句：

Bruna followed them in a taxi.

Bruna坐轿车跟在他们后面。

Ms Kimi happened to be getting into her lorry. 

Kimi小姐正要坐上卡车。

She was carried out of the ambulance.

她被抬出了救护车。

'on', 'onto', 'off' + 其他交通工具

例句：

Why don't you come on the plane with me to New York?

为什么不和我一起坐飞机去纽约？

He jumped back onto the bus.

他跳回了那辆公共汽车。

Mrs Rachel stepped off the train and ran to the toilet.

瑞秋女士走下火车，跑去了卫生间。

总结

1. in, into, out of

in 类似'里面'的意思。

I'm driving in my car.

我在车里驾驶。

into <-> out of 是一组反义词组

参考猫的两组动作来理解：

My cat jumped into a big box.

我的猫跳进了个大箱子。

My cat jumped out ofa small box.

我的猫从小盒子里跳出来。

2. on, onto, off

on 类似'在......上'

Eve is on the plane to Yunnan.

Eve在去云南的飞机上。

onto = on + to，'到......上'

'自带动感'的介词: 'to'理解为'朝、向'，'on'还是原来的'在......上'

He jumped onto the train. 

他跳上了火车。

on <-> off 一组反义词

Elaine got on the bus slowly.

Elaine缓慢地上了公交车。

Elaine got off the bus slowly, too.

Elaine慢慢地下了公交车。
