基础英语口语:I gotta + (verb)

 嘿喽英语 2019-03-14

'I gotta' is grammatically incorrect. It is more of a spoken form. If you want to say this with proper grammar, the equivalent would be, 'I have got to' or 'I've got to'. In the spoken form, 'got to' is shortened to 'gotta' and the word 'have' is dropped.
'I gotta'在语法上是不准确的,大多用在口语中,正确的语法形式应该是'I've got to'。在口语中被缩写成'gotta',have被省略了。

Here are some examples:

"I gotta manage my money."我要管好自己的钱。
"I gotta obey the laws."我必须遵守法律。
"I gotta move to a bigger house."我不得不搬到一个大房子里。
"I gotta impress my boss."我得给老板留个好印象。
"I gotta brush my teeth."我得好好刷牙。

By adding the word 'have' you can change what you are saying to express something that needs to be done in the near future.
加上'have',你是想表达在不久的将来会做的事儿。
Here are some examples:

"I have got to be on time to work."我以后得准时上班。
"I've gotta try harder at school."我以后得努力学习。
"I've gotta tell my wife I'll be late."我得告诉我老婆,我要迟到了。
"I've gotta learn more about the laws."我得多学习法律知识。
"I've gotta clean my house today."我今天要好好打扫卫生。
