Frank was a psychologist who suffered in Naziconcentration camps during world war ii. His parents, wife and brother died at the hands of the nazis. The only family he had was one of his sisters. At that time, he was often tortured and the door of death might open to him at any moment.

We often be affect the mood, judgment, or physical and mental health by things happened from the outside, mostly because when we faced the distress, the first thing we think of it is not the way to deal with problems, but sad, fear, guilt, regret and so on, these emotions can not bring us any good to solve the problem, instead of making more damage. It is up to us to increase the harm or reduce. Our hearts are our own and our heads are on our shoulders. So it is easier to control our hearts than to control anyone else's.

我们常常被外界所发生的事影响情绪,判断,甚至身心健康,往往是因为在遇到困境的时候,我们首先想到的不是应对问题的办法,而是产生伤心,恐惧,自责,懊悔等情绪,这些情绪并没有能带给我们解决问题的任何好处,反而使得伤害更大。而增加伤害疑惑减少伤害,完全取决于我们自己,心是自己的,脑袋也长在自己肩上,所以控制自己的心,比控制任何人的都容易。
