He knows as little about music as I know about painting. 同一人或事物间不同性质的比较 （意为“既……又……”） She is as kind as honest. The news was as unexpected as welcome. 2. 比较级+than可表示： 不同的人或事物间同一性质的比较 She made fewer mistakes than I (did). 不同的人或事物间不同性质的比较 He has more copper coins than you have gold ones. 同一人或事物间不同性质的比较，只用more… than…的形式，more 和than之间可用名词、形容词等。意在肯定前者，否定后者。意为“与其说（后者），不如说（前者）”。 She is more mother than wife.
