ROYAL DOULTON-英国皇家道尔顿创立于1815年，1887年创始人约翰 道尔顿-JOHN DOULTON之子亨瑞 道尔顿-HENRY DOULTON获维多利亚女皇颁授的英国皇室骑士爵位称号，成为英国第一位受封骑士爵位的陶艺家。1901年，道尔顿-DOULTON获爱德华七世英王授权为皇家御用餐具和瓷器，并开始有权使用ROYAL皇家字样。1984年，它又成为第一个被带入太空的瓷器(“发现号”宇宙飞船)。今日，ROYAL DOULTON已成为英国最大骨瓷出口制造商。除了ROYAL DOULTON本身产品外，ROYALCROWN BERBY、MINTON、ROYAL ALBERT等三大品牌都属于ROYAL DOULTON旗下，其中ROYAL CROWN BERBY是最老的牌子，创始于1748年，为第一个获皇室授权使用皇家为商标的品牌。而最受英国黛安娜王妃生前青睐的ROYAL ALBERT，其受国人所熟知的乡村玫瑰系列自1962年生产自今遍布世界已超过一亿个。
