December 7, 2018 Dear Mr. Lee, I’m writing this letter to share some of my college life to you so far. My experience in this year and a half can be summarized into three things：keep reading andkeep thinking，experience something new，focus on volunteer teaching. When I was in senior high school, I often had some very deep thoughts like whether the history promotes human progress or actually is the human promotes historical progress, and what’s the relationship between a single person and the world he lives? What’s the secret between a person psychology and his affection? For I don’t have enough time and ability to solve those all kinds of strange problems at that time, so the moment I graduated from school, I quickly get to know how to find answer and how to deal with the relationship between these confusions and myself. Day by day, I have been acquiring many knowledge and skills, which not only have helped to widen my horizon but also have helped me to form the habit to hold totally different attitudes toward various of issues that are controversial. Besides, it’s beyond reproach that from interest in the long run I actually improved my ability to bear the psychological burdenwhich helps to enhance the mutual understanding between me and the others. Once upon a time I believed that the human is born to be a bad and selfish man but now in the course of reading and thinking, I grasp some key points on how to learn about someone differently from person to person. Owing to this, I became friends with people who were supportive. That’s the biggest treasure in my lifetime, and I would never have thought of myself that way three years ago. So up till now I still keep reading and thinking, country to the beginning I have some friends to talk with these problems and just six months ago I set up my own WeChat public account and now I will deliver some essay to share some of my personal views on various of issues, which has become one of my delight oflife. I really love to be in this. One saying goes, “the quickest way to grow fast is out of your comfort zone.” That’s to say you should always keep it in mind that learning is a lifelong process. Now college students usually have many academic resources, practice opportunities and enough time and wills to play that role than many students themselves don’t have realized it yet since they are often distracted by other attractions and become impatient with it. As for me, I tried some books and courses in other fields like psychology, the machine language, the English writing and speaking, the education. Also, I’m so addicted to gain news I want. For instance, I have an interest in electronic hardware products and every time I received my news delivery, I’ll open and begin to read it at first time. These electronic products are being replaced at an extremely high rate and those new ideas about their products and projects had really left me a profound impression. I think it must be keen for the new technology that has driven me forehead. Thanks to this, I tried new sport, new books and new people, enjoy the journey and new types of music and so on, it really let me love me and the world better off. I may never have realized it in the past that one day I’ll connect so close to the public benefit, and never have considered that before one day I will be a volunteer teacher standing in front of so many children. It all date backs to the time when I first to get close to the volunteer jobs, just for the sake that one should try their best in front of the children, I made great progress with my partners. But who know that I should keep nearly all my after-school activities connected to volunteer teaching. From teaching in the primaryschools nearby, to teaching in a distant poor area in Ding Xi,Gan Su Province. From knowingnothing about volunteer teaching, to become anexpert in it. I could never forget those days when we tried hard to design the schemes of the course, we finally make our course substantialthought we redesigned it for many times or even argue for that; and the time we raised money, we finally exceeded the target number and raised a small amount of money for another project; and the time we wrote applicant form, we finally got a place while a group from Tsinghua universityfailed to get one; And I remember the time wewere on our way to Beijing to study course design and get to know many excellent partner from all over the country, I still remember a section when asked to play a stage show, every one of my teammates helped to come up with many fantastic ideas and every one is so enthusiastic and unitive without any impatient, thought we even don’t know other people’s name. I said, “The fruit of creativity belongs to everyone.” And finally, I also will never forget those lovely child and pure villagers in Gan Su, and my best partners! All in all, it leaves so much to be said. To do volunteer jobs heartily can become a happy thing. That’s my college life, though not too much perfect but really worth.
