嘉兴学院图书信息中心位于浙江省嘉兴市梁林扩建工程二期内，拟建筑面积42000平方米（含地下人防4000平方米）。正南面拥有占地50亩人工湖一座。零壹城市突破高等院校建筑陈规，结合当地水林丰饶之地域特点，设计出拥有流畅动线、清晰场地策略和节能理念的智能化建筑，拔得头筹。其三角形的平面布局依托场地特征，将高度吹拔至35米并在形体内部加入开放式庭院；以消减锐角的方式在三角型的端口打开视线；三个镶嵌几何的立面边界微微弧起，将出入口自然的融入其底部中端，步移景易。
隐秀的庭院和三个开放中心的外向性形成张弛有度的平衡，在内敛的校园内形成一盏生动的湖滨亮点。承担内部交通的坡道抛弃单一目的性，不仅在获取信息上编制快捷的摄取途径，亦在空间感受上提供不同速度级别的选择。双层立面的设置将金属铝板的光泽和玻璃的采光性能充分结合，游刃有余的的表现出材料在微曲形态上的优势，与整体形态一致塑造出轻盈翩迁的反重力之感。体量零壹延续一贯将缜密的思考浓缩为最简之表现。
Jiaxing College Library & Media Center
Jiaxing College Library & Media Center is located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China. The project faces towards a 50 hectare lake to the south, and the planned building area is 42000 m2, within which 4000 m2 is for underground civil defence. LYCS breaks the antiquated design conventions by intelligently negotiating contemporary architectural design within a traditional chinese college campus.
Surrounded by rich woods and luscious water, the library plays a story about hirarchy, the hirarchy between privacy ranks, between spacial experience paces, between introvert and extrovert. As itself a division of campus and courtyard, the library encourages public activities in the courtyard and on the roof garden while limits eccessive visiual interruption to the three lobes. Compare to the direct tranportation via straight staircases, the core circled ramp generates a softer momentum to better emplify the spacial genunine that smartly facilitates the information-oriented architecture.
By eliminating the acute angles of the triangle form, it slices in sharpe into transparent fasade to sufficiently utilize daylight. The double layered fasade lifts from bottom by a clear nurb that makes way for entrances. Bent in plan, the nurb extrudes to 35 meter's height, exppanding three roof garden which converge towards geometry center. An anti-gravity crystal form is archieved by vertically hoisting the roof, sitting by the curvy lakeside, shelled under aluminum panel's gloss and reflection of glass curtain.
