一、购买机票、办理乘机手续

Buy Air Ticket and Check in

◆为了在广州白云国际机场办理72小时过境免签手续，您需事先购买72小时内已确定日期及座位的从广州白云国际机场出境前往第三国（地区）的联程机票，打印并随身携带。

◆ To apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, you must buy and print the air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region )leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

◆请事先告知您前往广州航班的航空公司工作人员，您将在广州免签证办理72小时过境手续。

二、航班抵达广州

◆请根据入境旅客标识前往检验检疫、边检通道。

三、检验检疫检查

◆如您来自黄热病流行国家和地区，应持有效的黄热病《国际预防接种证书》。

◆ If you come from a yellow fever endemic country or region, you must hold a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate

◆您不可以携带宠物过境。

◆ You are not allowed to transit through China with your pet.

四、边检检查

Immigration

◆请按照72小时旅客标识指引前往边检2-4号专用通道。

◆ Please go to theImmigration Channels 2-4 according to 72-hour traveler sign.

◆请您提前准备以下资料：1）本人有效国际旅行证件、2）第三国（地区）签证、3）填写完整的外国人入境卡（包括在华住址）、4）72小时内已确定日期及座位的从广州白云国际机场出境前往第三国（地区）的联程机票。

◆ You must prepare the following information: 1) Your valid international traveling document; 2) A third country (region) visa; 3) Complete an entry card (Including your residential address in China; 4) Air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region) leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport within 72 hours

五、提取行李

Reclaim Baggage

◆如果您选择在前站将行李直挂第三国，您的行李将由广州白云国际机场免费寄存，您无需再次提取行李。

◆ If you choose to tag through baggage to a third country, your baggage will be checked at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and you do not need to reclaim baggage again

六、海关检查

Customs

◆如果您携带有向海关申报的物品，须填写《中华人民共和国海关进出境旅客行李物品申报单》，选择"申报通道"通关；如果没有，无须填写《申报单》，选择"无申报通道"通关。

◆ If you take the goods that are required to be declared to the Customs, you must complete the Baggage Declaration Form for Inward/Outward Passengers of the Customs of the People’s Republic of China and choose the “Declaration Channel” to pass through Customs. If not, there is no need to complete the Declaration Form and you can choose the “No Declaration Channel” to pass through Customs.

七、离开机场

Leave the airport

◆提取行李后，您可以选择机场大巴、地铁、出租车等交通工具离开机场。

◆ After baggage reclaim, you can leave the airport by airport bus, Metro or taxi.

八、广东省内活动

Enjoy your stay in Guangdong

◆在免签时间范围内，您可前往广东省内任一城市。

◆ You may go to any city in Guangdong within the visa exemption time.

九、返回机场办理乘机手续

Return to the airport and Check in

◆请在免签时限前返回广州机场，办理登机手续。

◆ Please return to Guangzhou Airport before the time limit of visa exemption and check in.

◆在经过边防检查时，请准备有效国际旅行证件、外国人出境卡和出境航班登机牌。

问:符合哪些条件的外国人可以申请在广州白云国际机场72小时免签过境？

Q: What requirements foreigners have to meet to apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport?

答:（1）属于72小时过境免签政策范围的45个国家公民（旅客出发和到达目的地不限于这45个国家）；（2）持有本人有效国际旅行证件、第三国（地区）签证和72小时内已确定日期及座位的从广州白云国际机场出境前往第三国（地区）联程机票；（3）免签期间活动范围限于广东省行政区域内。

A: (1) Citizens from the 45 countries under the 72-hour Transit Visa Exemption Program (The origins and destinations of travelers are not limited to such 45 countries); (2) Foreign nationals with valid international travel documents and air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region) leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport within 72 hours; (3) The range of staying during the visa exemption is limited to the administrative precincts of Guangdong Province.

问:“72小时过境免签”中的72小时时限是从入境时间开始计算吗？

答:不是，72小时的时限是从旅客入境次日零时起开始计算。例如旅客2013年8月1日08:00从广州白云国际机场入境，入境免签时限是从2013年8月2日00:00开始计算，2013年8月4日23:59前出境即可。

A: No. The 72-hour limit is calculated by starting with zero hour the next day of the traveler’s entry. For example, if a traveler enters China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on August 1, 2013, the visa exemption limit for entry is calculated by starting with 00:00 on August 2, 2013. The traveler can leave China before 23:59 on August 4, 2013.

问:符合72小时过境免签条件的外国人，如何申请办理过境手续？

Q: How can a foreigner who meets the requirements for the 72-hour transit visa exemption apply for it?

答:符合72小时过境免签条件的外国人应当向载运其抵达广州的航空公司告知其属于72小时过境免签旅客，并提出办理过境免签手续需求，由航空公司向广州白云国际机场边检机关申报，边检机关按照政策规定对申请人条件审核准许后，办理临时入境手续。此外，对入境前未提出72小时过境免签申请的外国人，也可在到达广州白云国际机场后未办理边检手续前向边检机关提出申请。

A: A foreigner that meets the requirements may submit his/her request to the airline company that carries him/her to Guangzhou, which shall make the application to the immigration of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport that shall grant a temporary entry of a passenger meeting the requirements for transit visa exemption upon verification. Besides, a foreigner that does not apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption before entry may submit his/her application to the immigration before completion of the immigration after arrival at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

问:如果入境时没有买好出境的机票，计划先入境后再购买72小时内离境前往第三国的机票，是否可申请72小时过境免签？

Q: Can a traveler apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption when no exit air ticket is bought at the time of entry but he or she plans to purchase the air ticket for a third country leaving within 72 hours after entry?

答:根据政策规定，申请72小时过境免签时，必须持有已确定日期及座位的从广州白云国际机场出境前往第三国（地区）联程机票，即在其入境前必须已买好出境时的机票。因此未订妥72小时联程机票的规定国家外国人，不能享受此项便利政策。 

A: According to the requirements, a foreigner applying for the 72-hour transit visa exemption must hold the air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region) leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, i.e., the exit air ticket is already in place before entry. Therefore, this facilitation measure does not apply to a foreigner that does not have a confirmed air ticket for a connecting flight leaving within 72 hours.

问:从某一国家（地区）来广州，已订妥确定日期和座位的72小时内返回其来自国（地区）的机票，是否可以适用此政策？

Q: Does this measure apply to a foreigner coming to Guangzhou from a certain country (region) with a confirmed air ticket for flying back to the same country (region) where he or she comes from within 72 hours with confirmed date of flight and seat?

答:根据政策规定，72小时过境免签政策是针对在广州白云国际机场过境前往第三国（地区）的规定国家外国人，因此，对于前往国即是来自国的外国人，不能享受此项便利政策。

A: According to the requirements, the 72-hour transit visa exemption measure is for a foreigner connecting through Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for a third country or region. Therefore this measure does not apply to a passenger whose destination country is the country where he or she comes from.

问:在广州白云国际机场办理72小时过境免签手续入境后，可否前往中国其他城市？

Q: Can a foreigner leave Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for another Chinese city after getting the 72-hour transit visa exemption?

答:可以前往广东省内城市，但不能离开广东省。 

A: He or she may leave for the city in Guangdong and is not allowed to leave Guangdong.

问:可否在广州白云国际机场入境后再于72小时内乘火车从广州东站出境？

Q: Can a passenger enter China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and then leave from the Guangzhou East Railway Station within 72 hours?

答:目前此 项政策仅在广州白云国际机场实施，即享受72小时过境免签政策的旅客仅限从广州白云国际机场出入境。

A: This measure is currently available at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport only, which means that the travelers who enjoy the 72-hour transit visa exemption policy are only permitted to enter and leave China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

问:如果办理72 小时过境免签手续入境后因特殊原因无法在72 小时内及时离境，该怎么办？

Q: What should be done in case a foreigner who has the 72-hour transit visa exemption cannot leave China within 72 hours due to some special reason after entry?

答:如遇不可抗力等原因需在广东省行政区域停留超过72小时的，或者超出准予停留范围的，应当到广东省地级市公安机关出入境管理部门办理相应的签证。 

A: In case of special need to stay in the administrative precincts of Guangdong Province longer than 72 hours due to force majeure or of exceeding the permitted scope of stay, a passenger should apply for the relevant visa to the exit-entry administration department of the municipal public security authorities of Guangdong.
