每日朗读《一个懒惰的人》

Two friends are having a holiday.

两个朋友正在度假。

Their names are Jim and Tim.

他们是吉姆和蒂姆。

Tim is very lazy.

蒂姆非常懒。

On the first evening of their holiday, Jim says to Tim, “Here’s some money. Go and buy some meat.”

在假日的第一个晚上，吉姆对蒂姆说，“给你些钱，去买点肉。”

“I’m too tired,” answers Tim. “You go.”

“我太累了，”蒂姆回答。“你去吧。”

So Jim goes to buy the meat.

所以吉姆就去买肉了。

Later he comes back and says to Tim, “Now here’s the meat. Please cook it.”

过了一会儿，他回来了，对蒂姆说，“肉买回来了，来做饭吧。”

But Tim answers, “No, I’m not good at cooking. You do it.”

但是蒂姆回答，“不，我不擅长烹饪，你来做吧。”

So Jim cooks the meat. Then he says to Tim, “Go and get some water.”

所以吉姆做肉。然后他对蒂姆说，“去拿些水来。”

“No, I don’t want to get my clothes dirty.” Tim answers.

“不，我不想把衣服弄脏。”蒂姆回答。

At last, Jim says, “The meat is ready. Come and eat it.”

最后，吉姆说，“肉做好了，来吃吧。”

“Yes, I’ll do that.” answers Tim. “I don’t like saying ‘No’ all the time.”

“好的，我来了。”蒂姆回答。“我也不是只喜欢说‘不’的。”
