Procedures to get Free Pratique: 1- Submit Maritime Declaration of Health (email) to port authorities before arrival; 2- Raise Yellow flag on arrival;(My vessel is Healthy and require Free Pratique) 3- Make sure Accommodation, Galley, Stores, Dispensary, Hospital are tidy & clean & all food items & Medicines and Medical chest certificate are not expired. 4- Make sure all crew are Healthy and possess the following certificates: i- Medical Fitness certificate; ii- Yellow card; 5- Make sure the Sanitation Control Exemption certificate is valid. 6- Prepare crew vaccination report; 7- Prepare a crew list with the expiry date of crew Medical Fitness certificates; 8- Prepare last 10 ports of call report; 9- Prepare Narcotic list; 10- The vessel (Accommodation & sometimes cargo hold) will be inspected by a Port Health officer on arrival; 11- If the inspection is satisfactory, then the vessel will receive the Free Pratique;(no sign of insects, pests, roaches, rats, …) 12- Lower the Yellow Flag. |
