雅思英语作文的2大核心句型

数据（data）、趋势（trend）、比较（comparison & contrast）、结构（structure）是一篇好的雅思小作文必备的4大核心要素。其中，趋势（trend）是指数据随着时间的变化而变化，主要表现为上升、下降、不变或波动等。

在对图表中的数据进行趋势描述时，必须掌握如下2个关键的核心句型：

1. sthincreased sharpy. 剧烈上升
2. There was a sharp increase in sth. 剧烈上升

上述2个句型可以相互转换。第1句使用“动词搭配副词”；第2句话使用“形容词搭配名词”。句中的increase可以换成任何表示趋势的词汇，例如rise, decrease, fall；sharply可以换成 slightly 或dramatically等。
