Thank you and good morning everybody. I'm so grateful for you all having me here today. 

谢谢各位，大家早上好，非常感谢大家今天邀请我前来！

Four years ago, when I became Patron of Place2Be, I believe what you all know to be true that getting support to children at the very earliest stage helps improve their outcomes later in life. Schools and teachers are at the heart of this support, and have a crucial role to play.

四年前，当我成为Place2Be的赞助人时，我相信大家都知道这样的事实：在越早的阶段为孩子们提供应有的教育支持，越有利于他们未来人生的发展。学校和老师在这其中起着核心作用，扮演者至关重要的角色。

You know your pupils. You know their circumstances. You can sopt a family's having a tough time. You occupy a special position because you can identify issues and take action when it's most needed.

你们了解学生，你们清楚他们的具体情况，你能够察觉一个学生的家庭正在经历困难的时期。你们处在这样一个特殊的位置，因为你们能够发现问题并在必要是采取行动。

Parents also have a key role to play in this support system. As a mother just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates. It is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child. Whether we are school leaders, teachers, support staff or parents, we are all in this together. We are all working to give children the emotional strength they need to face their future lives and thrive.

家长也在这个教育系统中起着关键作用。作为一个刚刚习惯送孩子去学校的母亲，我非常清楚抚养一个孩子需要整个社会的力量。无论我们是学校领导、老师、教职工或父母，我们都在这个社群中。我们都在努力给孩子们提供他们需要的心理支撑，来应对他们的未来和发展。

I am proud that the Royal Foundation is playing its part, too, after their Heads Together campaign. Collaborating with experts like yourselves, we're looking at providing easy access to information and practical tools to support teachers, parents and children feel comfortable talking about their mental health.

我很骄傲的是皇家基金会在“共同协作”的活动后，仍发挥着他们的作用。通过与在座各位这样的专家们合作，我们希望能提供更便捷的信息渠道和实践工具，从而让老师，家长和孩子们更愿意谈论他们的心理健康。

We are all here today because we share the belief that every child deserves the chance to fulfill their potential. When I came to this comference two years ago, I left with a real sense of energy and passion about what we could all achieve together. And I'm looking forward to learning even more today.

今天我们聚集于此，因为我们都相信每个孩子都应当有机会发挥他们的潜能。两年前我参加这个会议的时候，我对我们将要共同实现的目标充满着极大的力量和热情。我也期待我今天能够学到更多。
