经历了77天封城的武汉,终于在4月8日解除管控。大家得知武汉解封的消息都振奋不已,有人亲切地说:热干面醒了!

听说在解禁后,武汉一天里就卖出几十万份热干面,足以见得大家对它的想念。

当然,作为中国著名的美食之都,武汉的地道美食早已声名在外,可不止热干面这么简单,还有豆皮、面窝、鸭脖各种风味小吃。不过你知道这些美食的英文都怎么说吗?

Literally, “Guo Zao” simply means having breakfast in Wuhan dialect. However, it is much more a custom embedded in the “Wuhan lifestyle” than merely a term.

热干面是武汉最具代表性的小吃之一,在武汉你随处可见当地人端着热干面赶路。

“Reganmian” is one of Wuhan’s most representative snacks. In Wuhan, you can see locals holding with “Reganmian” everywhere.

武汉本地人都知道,热干面好不好吃,一个关键是面条是否嚼劲适中,另一个是芝麻酱是否足够好。

It is generally known to all Wuhan local people that the keys of tasty “Reganmian” are the moderately chewy noodle and the great sesame paste.

食用热干面时,加入芝麻酱、虾米、葱花、酱油、萝卜丁、麻油、豇豆、醋和蒜汁等调料拌匀,上口香气扑鼻,耐嚼有味。

Before eating “Reganmian”, add some and other such condiments as sesame paste, shrimps, chopped chives, soy sauce, chopped pickled radish, sesame oil, pickled cowpea, vinegar and garlic juice, and then mix them properly. The noodles will be sweet-smelling, chewy and delicious.

豆皮一直是武汉“过早”文化不可或缺的一部分,它主要由绿豆,面粉,鸡蛋和糯米制成。

“Doupi”, an indispensable part of Wuhan’s breakfast culture, is mainly made of mung beans, flour, eggs and glutinous rice.

面窝和热干面一样是武汉人最爱吃的早点之一。色黄脆香的圆形米饼吃起来厚处松软,薄处酥脆。

Just like “Reganmian”,'Mianwo' is also one of the favorite breakfast snacks for Wuhan people. The crispy round yellow rice cake tastes soft in the thick part and crispy in the thin one.

武汉的“蛋酒”是一种“过早”饮品,喝蛋酒多在吃油条或面窝之际。它香浓可口,色淡而甘甜。

'Danjiu' (eggnog) of Wuhan is a kind of beverage for breakfast, which often goes with Youtiao (deep-fried dough sticks) or Mianwo (salty deep-fried doughnut-shaped snack). It is fragrant, delicious, and sweet while light in color.

誉满全国的周黑鸭,其卤制方法非常讲究,具有多种风味,麻辣鲜香、咸中带甜。

Known all over the country, 'Zhou Hei Ya' duck neck is cooked with an exquisite marinating method. With a variety of flavors, it is spicy and fresh, and salty yet sweet.

尽管周黑鸭连锁店遍布全国,但以武汉的最为正宗地道。

Although chain stores of Zhou Hei Ya Company Limited spread all over China, those in Wuhan are the most authentic.
