When did you contact CG? Why do you want to learn this?

L: Probably in 2006. Actually, I didn't study this major. I majored in international trade in my university, but I was very poor at it. I think I'm a failure. I decided to learn something in my junior year. I'd better be interested in it. In fact, since I was a child, I have always been in the habit of painting, so I want to do what I like. I began to rent a house outside, the tuition fees paid at home were not paid, directly bought a computer, began the process of self-study.

In fact, I didn't pay attention to this industry in the first place. At that time, Photoshop was very popular, and I thought this thing should have a bright future, so I began to learn to draw with PS. After that, I slowly came into contact with 3D. The 3D world makes me feel a little more creative, or a little more technical, so I began to learn about it.

It's been 11 years since 2006. What's your whole resume and experience? Is there any unforgettable memory?

L: At that time, I was lucky enough to enter an outsourcing company directly after graduation. At that time, there were quite a lot of Companies in China Outsourcing games to foreign countries, so I joined a company called "three pearl digital", or PDE for short, which was a very powerful company. At that time, the R & D technology of domestic games was not yet up, so I mainly made models for some foreign online games. There is a game made by Icelandic CCP. It's very famous. It's called Eve. My first project is to do this. I feel very excited. I have made a lot of starships and floating objects in the galaxy, which is very fulfilling for my age.

Later, I still focused on the role, that is, the role building. The problem is that I don't have the foundation of science class, so it's still difficult to do it. But I pay great attention to the cultivation of the foundation, and think I should lay a good foundation, so I try to squeeze out my spare time to do some basic exercises. In that period of time, I made a lot of head carvings, similar to the portraits of Zhang Guorong and Obama. After I posted it on the Internet, some forums responded well and gradually let more people know me, which encouraged me to do more. I slowly entered a stage of "doing exercises in my spare time". I feel that I am still very diligent. Basically, when I go home and do nothing else, I devote myself to studying the basic and technical aspects of art.

Gradually, I felt that my level was good and my attitude was relatively impetuous. Just as the company's performance was not ideal, I went to a company called Vitas. Compared with the first one, Vitas has a spiritual figure in it, which is more unforgettable to me. At that time, my leader was role model director, Wu Wei. He thought he was so awesome that he wanted to learn from him. Under his influence, I was exposed to more traditional training such as sculpture and realism, which led me to be fascinated by it and do countless human body work.

When I was in Vitas, I also got in touch with many good games and projects, such as the naughty dog's "mysterious sea" and "the end of America", which were both highly rated games, and later participated in the production of "Medal of honor", which were exciting experiences. Because Vitas and Industrial Light Magic also have cooperation. Fortunately, as one of the small screws, Vitas can enter the film "Transformers" for model production.

Almost five or six years later, I felt that I should have more goals and improve my ability, and began to embark on the road of entrepreneurship. At that time, I knew the partners of Kaitian studio. I appreciated their ideas and volunteered to create Kaitian together. Although China has a deep tradition of sculpture in history, there is still a big gap between China and Europe and the United States since modern times, especially after the reform and opening up. I am still very confident that I can contribute to China.
