‍前几期我们学习了英语语法：基数词和序数词1-19、基数词和序数词20-99、基数词和序数词100-1,000,000。这一期，我们学习英语语法：分数词。

数词

5.2分数词

分数的分子用基数词表示，分母用序数词表示，中间的连字符号可用可不用。当分子大于1时，作分母的序数词须用复数形式。

比如：

1/2  a/one  half

1/3  a/one third

1/4  a/one fouth

2/3  two thirds

5/8  five eighths

3/10  three tenths

结构“分数词+of+名词”表示“某整体的几分之几”。

比如：

One third of the students in our class are girls.

我们班三分之一的学生是女同学。

We finished three fourths of the work in two days.

我们两天里完成了这项工作的四分之三。

Two fifths of the land is covered with trees.

这片土地的五分之二覆盖着森林。
