动词短语是由动词和介词、副词、名词等构成的，在句中作谓语。

369.be familiar with熟悉

用法：be familiar with是一个常见的短语，with是介词，后面跟人或者物，其同义短语有be acquainted with。

例句：Some of his students are?already familiar with Frantzen’s life story. (托福)

他的一些学生对弗兰岑的传记已经很熟悉了。

结构分析：Some of his students是主语， are?already familiar with 是谓语（already是状语），Frantzen’s life story是宾语（Frantzen’s和life是前置定语）。(托福)

370.be curious about对……感到好奇

用法：be curious about后面跟让人好奇的人或者物。

例句：They?are curious about?specific features. (2015年12月六级)

他们对特殊的功能感到好奇。

371.be disappointed at对……失望

用法：be disappointed at后面跟人或者物，介词at也可以替换为in或者with。

例句：The interviewer was disappointed at his ambiguous reply.

面试官对他模棱两可的回答很失望。

372.be glad of为……而高兴

用法：be glad of中的介词of也可以替换为about，后面跟让人高兴的人或者事。

例句：The man was glad of?what she had done and decided to go to the movies with her.

那人对她的所作所为很高兴，决定陪她去看电影。
