短语的用法

9. It is no use doing……没用

用法：“It is no use + 动名词”可与there be no usedoing结构互换，都表示“……没用”。

例句1：It is no use stopping him without telling him the truth.

不告诉他真相而阻拦他是没有用的。

结构分析：It是形式主语，is no use是系表型谓语（is是系动词，no use是表语）， stopping him without telling him the truth是-ing式词组作真正主语，其中without telling him the truth是介词词组作状语。

10. It is not until…that直到……才

用法：It is not until…that暗含着强调句型，意为“直到……才”，通常引导时间状语从句。

例句1：It is not until evening that the farmers working in the fields returned home.

直到傍晚，在田里劳作的农民才返回家中。

结构分析：It是形式主语，is not until evening是系表型谓语（is not是系动词，until evening是表语），that the farmers working in the fields returned home是真正主语（working in the fields returned home是后置定语）。
