see是个含义丰富的英文单词，除了看见，还表示理解和想象。see it coming也不是看见它过来了，而是预料到的意思。

我想不到的英文表达非常简单，只需要在see it coming前加上一个否定词就可以了，所以我没想到就是I did not see it coming，it也可以用that代替。

unexpected是出人意料的意思，不速之客的翻译就是an unexpected visitor。totally unexpected的意思就是万万没想到，可以强调我们震惊的程度。

学习要举一反三，既然没想到可以说did not see it coming和unexpected，那我料到了当然就是I saw it coming和I excepted。

除了这两个表达，我们还可以用It is on my list和that figures。It is on my list不是它在我的名单里，而是我早料到了。

figure有认定某事会发生的意思，所以that figures也就是说这件事在意料之中。
