Maybe it seemed better to be ignored for a period of time after a decade of being bullied, but it still wasn’t fun – a whole month was too long somehow. On the other hand, how did the Dursleys bear Dudley’s pig tail for a whole month?!
A big pile of luggage even including an owl, a strange platform, a no-one-knows destination, an approaching departure… helpless – I can’t think of other words. “Hagrid! You did so much for Harry, why had you forgotten to tell him how to find the right train?” Is there anyone else howling inside as I did? Of course, everyone knows the reason – the lovely Weasleys were coming up! Their nature just liked their red hair, passionate, vigorous. Mrs. Weasley was a great mother. She was busy conducting her four kids, among whom there were a pair of messing around twins, but she didn’t ignore Harry. She gave him instruction warmly and let him go first to make sure he would not have any other problems. When she knew Harry was Harry Potter, she ordered her kids not to bother him with Voldemort stuff. She was full of sympathy for his encounter and care his feeling unfeignedly.
11岁的小Harry自己踏上了魔法之旅。从platform nine and three-quarters开始就很懵，Uncle Vernon一家，最后折磨了小Harry一次，扬长而去。一个从muggle世界来的小名人，什么都没见过都不熟悉，可以想见的窘迫。 还好故事的一开始，就遇到了温暖热情的一家Family Weasleys，遇到了一生的挚友Ron。 现在看对Ron的描写，十分有趣，家里最小的男孩，又敏感又自卑，还总是有点沮丧和一点点的不服气、小倔强，与从小就被欺负被忽视，但是从未放弃证明自己的Harry多搭啊。 怪不得，一上火车，两个小家伙就聊的很投机，Ron的窘迫与Harry的窘迫，一个写在表现上，一个写在心理，一个读来滑稽有趣，一个读来揪心心疼，但是在遇到Malfoy这样的小男孩欺负人时，两个小朋友又都有勇气抗争，果断说NO。 想想他们后面的历险，人物的性格特点还是很合逻辑，很贴切的。
The Weasleys gave their first show in this chapter. Bill, Charley and Percy were outstanding in their school days. Even the naughty twins were good at study and popular in school. But Ron, the sixth boy in Weasley, didn’t seem to be very confident. Maybe he had got a lot to live up to. Soon after meeting Ron, Harry admired the red headed boy who could live in a big family with lots of wizards brothers. Because Harry lost parents when he was a little baby, he was eager for love from family. On the other hand, Ron admired Harry too who was born with great fame. After talking to each other , they both found that life was not as good as they could imagine. At that moment, they felt closer. Harry finally got on his journey to the magic world. All the charater showed up gradually with the story developing. The great character needs a great enemy to show his talent. So the boy, Marfoy, from a famous family, who also met his follower, started his business in the train. Actually, The author has buried a lot of foreshadowing here. I've read on the total story in Chinese, so the crowed reminded me of the ending where the harry with his wife to send their children off. I’ve read some articles about why Hermione choose the Ron not harry. When i was a boy i really think the chosen ones should be together. This time i would read and find anwer to confess myself. As we could read, Harry, finally, counted down to 1st Sept. and started the journey to Hogwarts with a great leap of excitement. Although he did not know what he was going to, it had be better than he was leaving behind.
(4)Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, bullying riffraff，the generations of the Dark Side wizards.(欺软怕硬的小流氓们，黑势力后代) 2.The funny sweets(比心的零食哈). (1)Chocolate Frogs，with cards of famous wizards and witches inside them to collect.(有趣的是名人们不会像照片那样一张停留，会离开再回来，还会动，Dumbledore gave a small smile, 一个女巫师居然scratching her nose抠鼻！) (2)Every Flavor Beans, the ordinary looking like pepermint(薄荷), marmalade(橘子或柠檬)，then turning spinach(菠菜), liver(肝) and stripe(内脏), even a booger(鼻屎). New journey has begun. 尽管面对Harry送站的请求，Uncle Vernon内心是拒绝的，但是想到Hagrid，恐惧令他们只能follow your heart（认怂）。 可是面对9又3/4车站，Harry可犯了难，没有咒语，也没有暗门，一堵墙的车站入口可怎么破？幸亏遇到了善良的Weasley一家和未来的亲密小伙伴Ron，Harry才能顺利登上去往Hogwarts的火车。 火车上魔法学院的小伙伴也悉数登场了，Ron(inferior)，Herminone(smart)，Neville (pathetic)， Draco Malfoy(annoying)，每个人都有着个性鲜明，后面有好戏看了。
Harry竟然还是通过Chocolate Frogs Card认识的Dumbledore，原来Dumbledore居然功绩显赫啊！新生乍到，免不了紧张害怕未知的新学校，欲知后事如何，且听下回分解。 编辑：灵厄 |
