罗眠寺

​罗眠寺

始建于唐代，是显通寺十二个下院之一善住阁院，分出时初名为落佛寺，据说文殊菩萨曾在这里落脚讲经说法并有神灯出现而得此名，是专供释迦牟尼佛的儿子罗喉罗尊者肉身舍利的道场。

明成化年间赵惠王重修落佛寺并改名为佛子道场“罗喉寺”康熙四十四年(1705)大.修，由青庙改为黄庙。寺院坐北朝南，占地面积17000平方米，建有殿堂118间大部分为明清建筑。寺前有牌楼、山门壁中轴线上自南向北依次为天王殿、

影文殊殿、大雄宝殿、大藏经楼和兜率阁。罗眠寺是五台山著名的五大禅处之一和十大黄庙之
