Dirty English in the Bathroom 厕所里“脏”英语

One of the most important places in the house, the bathroom!

厕所，用英文有这样一些说法：

bathroom

restroom

lavatory

washroom

toilet

loo

WC

“Where is the bathroom?”

“Can you tell me where the restroom is?

“Where is the lavatory?”

“Which way is the washroom?”

“I need to use the toilet, where can I find it?

“Where is the loo?” (British English)

“Can you point me to the WC?” (British English)

我们在厕所里做的那些事，用英文有这样一些说法：

pee 小便

urine (n) / to urinate (v) – (formal)

number 1 (n) -(neutral/polite)

tinkle (n) – (polite/old fashion)

(to) pee (n & v) – (neutral, most common term)

pee-pee (n) – (childish)

wee-wee (n) – (childish)

(to) piss (n & v) – (informal)

(to) wizz (n & v) – (very informal)

to take a leak (v phrase) –  (very informal)

“I have to pee, where is the bathroom?” 

我要小便，厕所在哪里？

“I’m going to take a leak, I’ll be right back.”

我要去撒尿，一会儿就回来。

“My son peed on himself and I need to change his clothes.”

我儿子尿在裤子里了，我得给他换衣服。

Mom: “Do you have to go number 1 or number 2?” Child: “Number 1.”

妈妈：你要上小号还是大号？孩子：小号。

“Someone pissed all over the sidewalk. Gross!”

有人尿在便道上了，真恶心！

“I went pee-pee in the potty.”

我去尿盆里尿尿了。

“The nurse checked to see if there was urine in the bed.”

护士去检查，看看床上是不是被尿上了。

“Do you have to tinkle?”

你要去嘘嘘么？

“The old man defecated in his bed.”

那个老头拉在床上了。

“How often do you have a bowel movement?”

你多久结一次大便？

“I need to change my daughter’s poopy diaper.”

我得给我女儿换尿布了。

“Where can I take a dump around here?”

在这里，哪儿能上大号？

“I haven’t had a BM in 2 days.”

我两天没有大便了。

“I saw some feces in the bushes at the park.”

我在公园的草丛里看到一些大便。

“You will have to provide a stool sample for testing.”

你要提供大便样本做化验。

 to expel intestinal gas from the anus 从肛门排出肠道里的废气

The toilet is clogged. 马桶堵了

plunger (疏通管道用的)搋子

defecate 排便

urine 尿;小便

tinkle 叮当声

potty  (幼儿的)便盆
