应对货期延迟

这类事情第一句的要点是开门见山。不要再寒暄、兜兜转转。直接说很抱歉通知你,我们无法如期出货。

The delivery date will be delayed about 15 days due to the rough weather last end of month. We are now trying every possible effort to expedite & finish it around 22nd April.

这一句,有三点注意。第一,货期延误15 天,和工厂说的 10 天有出入,那是因为计划永远赶不上变化,不能一板一眼的传递工厂的原话。应该在工厂给的时间上再多预算几天,同时要盯紧生产,让他们尽力在 10 天内提前完成。

第二,先简单提及下是什么原因导致延误,此时客户不关心原因,他关心的是那他的货要拖多少天才能完成。

所以紧接着第三要表达尽管延误,我们在全力加速货期,预计出货时间是4月22日。因为有些客户看到延迟已经气急攻心,说不定还会反问你到底是什么时候,给个具体时间,让他心里有数。

We sincerely apologize for this inconveniences caused as you have mentioned you need to catch up with the coming launch. You can refer to the news from ** and get to know more about that heavy rain screwed up the material supply, production, the transportation and so on. To make sure about the security of the whole factory including the staff safety and the machine running, we have to stop working those few days.
