“J”型天线的制作图
J极子（J-Pole）天线由一个1/2波发射元和一个1/4波驱动匹配器构成，它等价于一个从末端驱动的偶极天线，因其导体呈J型，故称为J极子。右图A是一个J极子天线实例，B是用直径3-10mm的铜线或铜管制作的J极子天线（适用于大功率）。
下面介绍一种业余条件下的制作“J”型天线的方法，供爱好者仿制。
首先可以从制冷设备维修商店买来下列材料：
10mm制冷铜管3.5m；
配套U形弯头。
参考价格
铜管：4元/米
U形弯头：2元/个
让大家仔细看看U头和铜管是如何连接的。
再将铜管内外壁和U形头内壁搪锡。（建议先先细沙皮打磨后，涂上助焊剂，用大功率电烙铁搪锡）
然后用气焊或燃气灶焊接：把搪了锡的铜管插入U头，同时在燃气炉加热，让锡全部熔化，调整好角度，关闭炉子，让铜管和锡自然冷却。（一定要注意安全）
焊接好天线的馈电点部分有用一段50－5的馈线和M座焊接。

做好的J型天线，如果觉得效果不好，还可以用另外一段铜管和一个U头做折合部分提高增益。
注意：芯线接短的一边有利于防雷！
